About Me
My Journey: Figuring It Out, One Pivot at a Time
Hey, I’m Faina. I know what it’s like to feel stuck at a career crossroads, wondering, What now?
In my early 20s, I was living my dream as a professional dancer, even making it to the Top 10 girls on So You Think You Can Dance (Season 3). I was all set to move to LA and pursue dance full-time—until an injury changed everything. Just like that, the future I had worked for disappeared, and I had no idea what was next.
That moment sent me on a journey of figuring out who I was beyond what I did. It eventually led me to law school and a career as a lawyer—something I never expected. The transition was tough. I faced doubts, setbacks, and the challenge of rebuilding my identity. But I learned that change isn’t the end of the road—it’s an invitation to realign.
And my story didn’t stop there. I pivoted again, moving into the corporate world, where I gained even more insight into career transitions, personal growth, and what it means to do fulfilling work that’s aligned with who you are. Each shift brought me closer to my passion for helping others find theirs.
